Her book, speeches, and retreats help to re-instill self-worth, removing pathology from mental and emotional symptoms, and offers new meaning that assists people in realigning with their most sacred selves - mind, body and spirit. She was a member of the Oprah Winfrey Belief Team and has spoken on national platforms with best selling authors such as Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul), Pam Grout, Howard Martin, etc., and her book has been featured on over 200 media sites including Om Times Magazine, Natural Awakenings, Holistic Globe, Psychology One, etc.

As an advocate for mental health, she has written over 50 articles that have been published in the media and is also a former Adjunct Psychology Instructor for two colleges. Her interest in holistic healing came out of having healed herself and lead to her becoming a Board Certified Alternative Holistic Practitioner with the American Alternative Medical Association and a Certified Reiki Practitioner. She has lectured and done workshops/in-service trainings on holistic, integrative, and spiritual healing for numerous organizations and offers weekend retreats. (Please visit her website for a partial listing of events and short video of book trailer and lecture tour).

Dr. Kemp uplifts a wide range of audiences - from clients and their families, to integrative healthcare practitioners to alternative and spiritual healers. Her speeches, lectures, workshops and retreats help to invigorate, shift energy, and bring much needed relief to clients, patients and healers alike! Testimonials say: she'll make you laugh and make you cry as she touches your core, and pokes fun with both the traditional and alternative healing practices, offering practical tools on how to align with well-being from this moment onward.

Dr. Kemp is currently the CEO of the Sacretherapy® Institute - a division of the Southern Institute For Family and Community Preservation, Inc. where she offers both holistic and traditional psychotherapy, as well as international Sacretherapy coaching and continuing education courses for clinicians and clergy interested in becoming Certified Sacretherapist.

Quote from one of her speeches and passages from the book:

"...When someone doesn't feel happy and/or perceives that his or her identity has been injured or anesthetized, he or she often goes into a sacred detox in order to release the conditioning, memes and other toxic beliefs that have bound one into a box of limited knowingness. Thus, as we begin to realign and restore our sacred freedoms.... we stay clear of the matter in our lives by paying attention, clearing everything through our own inner knowing and learning how to trust and respect its counsel...embracing a willingness to hear the sacred call....and by doing so, we can finally come from an unarmored place of grace and sanity, where through "sacretherapy┬«" we understand what this, that and the other represent, keeping our diagnostic reactions to a bare minimum....surrendering to the protest that we are being guided by the nonphysical unseen reality and accept there is more to our physical beingness than what meets the eye.... We begin trusting this inner knowing like an oracle with prophetic sight, revealing the way.... going forth into our physical journeys with this broader awareness that we have mighty influence over the quality of our lives and mental and emotional well-being."   -  Dr. Amelia Kemp
